Balance in the mouth and jaw
Are you looking for a natural and effective way to relieve long-term pain, improve sleep, and boost the health of the entire family?
Dentosophy – Balance in the Mouth and Jaw is a gentle, targeted therapy that addresses the causes of many problems where they often begin: breathing, swallowing, and chewing.
Why choose dentistry now?
- Disorders in the mouth and jaw area affect the entire body. Tension in the jaw can trigger headaches, neck and shoulder pain, sleep problems, and difficulty concentrating – connections that many people don't immediately associate with the jaw.
- Dentosophy restores the coordinated interaction of the tongue, lips, and cheeks, promotes nasal breathing, and supports the natural development of the jaws.
- The result: less pain, better posture, and more energy in everyday life.

Who is it suitable for?
- Children and adolescents (3–19 years): For crowded teeth, mouth breathing, incorrect tongue position, recurring ENT infections, speech problems (e.g., lisping), or poor postural habits. During growth phases, significant and lasting improvements are often possible.
- Adults: For teeth grinding, jaw clicking, snoring, TMD (craniomandibular dysfunction), migraines, tension, and exhaustion. Dentosophy helps improve jaw function, posture, and overall well-being.
How does Dentosophy work?
The basis is targeted training of breathing, swallowing, and chewing using a special, soft silicone splint – the so-called balancer. This individually fitted
splint is worn for about an hour daily, and often at night, to promote ideal jaw alignment and muscle coordination. This is complemented by conscious breathing exercises to promote nasal breathing and systemic relaxation. – Myofunctional exercises train the tongue, lips, and cheeks to work together harmoniously, thus normalizing the function of the mouth and jaw area.
What can you expect?
- Reduction of tension in the neck, shoulders, and face
- Fewer or less frequent headaches
- Better and more restful sleep, less snoring —improved concentration and more energy
- Often reduced need for invasive procedures (e.g., fixed braces)
Why does this work?
The position of the jaw influences the stability of the entire musculoskeletal system and impacts posture and muscle tone. The tongue acts as the
central „conductor“ of oral functions. When these mechanisms are brought into balance, the body can better regulate and regenerate itself.
